Min datter Marie har fått plass på Universitetet i Portsmouth. Da hun fortalte det bestemte jeg meg for å bli med henne når hun skulle flytte, for å se hvordan det var der hun skulle bo de neste 4 årene. Samtidig bestemte vi oss for å ta noen feriedager i London, for å ha litt kvalitetstid, bare mor og datter. Det ble noen travle dager i London, for vi måtte jo se mest mulig på de få dagene vi hadde der. Vi gikk flere timer hver dag og fikk sett det meste av det vi hadde bestemt oss for på forhånd. Og vi hadde det kjempefint i disse dagene! Jeg hadde selvfølgelig med meg kameraet mitt, tenkte å ta noen hundre bilder på turen, men det ville dessverre ikke virke, jeg må nok ha en service på det. Så bildene her er delvis tatt med mobilen min, delvis med det lille kompaktkameraet til Marie som jeg fikk låne, og delvis med speilreflekskameraet til Marie som hun brukte.

When she told it, I decided to go with her when she was going to move, to see how it was where she would stay for the next four years. There were some busy days in London, we had to see as much as we could the few days we had there. We walked for hours every day and got to see most of what we had decided in advance. And we had a wonderful time in those days! Of course I had my camera with me, I wanted to take a few hundred photos on the trip, but it would unfortunately not work, I will probably need a service on it. So the pictures here are partly taken with my cell phone, partly with the small compact camera that I borrowed from Marie and partly Maries SLR camera that she used.
